The Assisted Living Alliance network was founded in 2012 by Byron Richards and his wife Julia. Byron and his wife have over 35 years combined experience in the healthcare industry, Byron and Julia also hold degrees in Nursing and Physical Therapy and are currently Administrators operating successful Assisted Living Facility.
Through their years of experience in direct patient care, management, administration and marketing, Byron and his wife had a goal to one day own and operate their own healthcare facility. When Byron and his wife set out to open their first facility, it quickly became apparent that there were limited resources available for the smaller community and or the privately owned and that’s when they knew they had to find a way to turn their negative into a positive, so they could give their facility a leading edge. Byron then knew he had found a way to bridge the gap and make support and resources more tangible and affordable to the smaller market, ultimately benefitting the communities and their residents.
After repeatedly reaching out to the others, attending meetings, attending seminars and continuing their education, resources and support were found and a network began to form. The Assisted Living Alliance Network has now come to offer a more personal approach to with focus on continuing education, industry specific resources and a networking group to fill the gap and to better serve our residents and the communities.
Mission:
The Mission of the Assisted Living Alliance Network is to support those engaged in the business of assisted living through advocacy, collaboration, education and the promotion of high ethical standards.
